How we run the clinic

Please tell us a day ahead if you need to change a visit, so someone else can have the time. Call, text or WhatsApp. If a VA authorization or a claim sets a limit on visits, we tell you how a missed one is counted.

We use sterile, single-use needles from sealed packs, and used needles go into a sharps container. Every treatment has risks. Yours are small, and your acupuncturist explains them before the first needle: soreness, light bruising, feeling light-headed and, rarely, bleeding or infection.

Tell us what would make a visit easier: a chair, extra time, a quieter room, a different time of day or another language. We do what we can, and we tell you what we can't.

We keep your records private and share them only as the law allows. We share a record with your VA care team, an insurer or your doctor only when you ask us to or the law requires it.
