Reasons people book
What people come in for
These are reasons people give when they book. We don't promise a result for any of them, and what a visit does for you can differ from what it did for someone else.
Back and neck aches
From lifting, driving, standing all day or an old injury.
Shoulder, elbow and wrist strain
From repeated motion at work, tools or carrying gear.
Hip, knee and ankle aches
From long shifts on your feet, a fall or years of wear.
Headaches and jaw tension
Tension that builds through the day or the week.
Sleep that pain interrupts
Nights when you can't find a comfortable position.
Stiffness after an injury
When the injury is behind you and a part of you still feels tight.
What acupuncture does not do, and when to see a doctor first
Acupuncture does not replace your doctor's care, your physical therapy or your VA care team, and we don't tell anyone to stop a medicine. Tell your prescriber about everything you take, and tell us too.
See a doctor first, or call 911, for chest pain, trouble breathing, sudden weakness or numbness, loss of bladder or bowel control, a fever with a new back pain, or pain after a serious fall or accident.
We do a pattern assessment at your first visit. It does not replace a medical exam, and we say when something is outside what we do.
Tell us what brings you to book
The front desk can answer questions before you book. Please don't send medical details in a message; say them at your visit.
